In Turkey, a teacher and students were killed in a school shooting
A shooting occurred at a middle school in the city of Kahramanmaraş in southern Turkey, leaving at least four people dead and several others injured.

According to local authorities, the attacker opened fire in two classrooms at the school. One teacher and three students were killed, and the injured were taken to hospitals.
Police and medical services arrived at the scene promptly.
Preliminary findings indicate that the attacker was an eighth-grade student at the same school. He used a pistol that may have belonged to his father, a former police officer.
The motives for the attack are currently unknown. Law enforcement officials are continuing their investigation and are working to determine all the circumstances of the tragedy.
