In Urzuf, a dolphin covered in fuel oil washed ashore on the coast of the Azov Sea

In the village of Urzuf near Mariupol, on the coast of the Azov Sea, a dolphin was found with its body covered in fuel oil. The animal had washed ashore near the coast.

Petro Andriushchenko, head of the Center for the Study of the Occupation, reported this on Telegram and posted a video of the incident.

Under the video, he noted that “the consequences of the disaster in Anapa have reached the Azov Sea via the Black Sea.”

According to Andriushchenko, the consequences of the ecocide are becoming increasingly visible, as the abnormal heat has not yet begun, yet dolphins and sturgeons are already being washed ashore in Mariupol and the surrounding area.

“These are no longer isolated incidents. These are markers of the degradation of an ecosystem that the Russians are methodically destroying through war, irresponsibility, and ecological barbarism,” concluded the head of the Center for the Study of the Occupation.
