Vanuatu has revoked Andrew Tate's citizenship
Vanuatu authorities have revoked the citizenship of British-American blogger Andrew Tate. As recently as 2025, officials from the country stated that he had obtained citizenship without any violations.
The Vanuatu Citizenship Commission cited three grounds for revoking his citizenship: obtaining citizenship through fraud, granting it in violation of the law or the Constitution, and failure to comply with legal restrictions after acquiring citizenship.
However, the list of grounds does not include criminal charges brought after citizenship was granted or final convictions.
Under Vanuatu law, the determination of whether fraud has occurred falls within the jurisdiction of the courts. If a court determines that citizenship was obtained through the provision of false information, fraud, or the concealment of material facts, the individual loses their citizenship 30 days after the relevant decision is rendered.
Thus, for citizenship to be revoked on grounds of fraud, the court must establish that fraud occurred.

As a reminder, a Miami court denied the Tate brothers bail due to flight risk.
Prior to this, Andrew Tate was charged with trafficking minors in Romania.
The Tate brothers’ attorneys stated that the supercars used in the videos were rented.
