VIDEO: Kate, Princess of Wales, Conquered Britain's Three Highest Peaks in a Day
Catherine, Princess of Wales, climbed the three highest mountains in Great Britain in 24 hours as part of the National Three Peaks Challenge, a charity event to raise funds for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
In a single day, she climbed Scafell Pike in England, Ben Nevis in Scotland, and Snowdon in Wales.
Catherine said she hopes this initiative will draw attention to the importance of a comprehensive approach to cancer treatment. According to her, combining traditional medicine with complementary therapies helps patients cope more easily with the effects of the disease and maintain their quality of life.
After completing the challenge in Wales, the princess was greeted by Prince William, their three children, as well as her parents and brother.
