Video: Solovyov called for the reversal of German reunification and the restoration of the GDR
Kremlin propagandist Vladimir Solovyov made yet another absurd statement regarding national borders in Europe. On his TV show, he called for the reunification of Germany to be revoked, for the GDR to be restored, and for diplomatic relations with Berlin to be severed.
The mouthpiece of Russian propaganda proposed revoking the recognition of modern Germany.
In his speech, Solovyov asserted the need to denounce the 1990 Treaty on the Final Settlement with Respect to Germany (the “4+2” format), which laid the legal foundation for the unification of West Germany and East Germany.
“Given the violation of the basic 4+2 agreement, we should denounce the recognition of German reunification, refuse to recognize this country as such, demand the restoration of the GDR, and simply sever all diplomatic relations. There is no such country,” the propagandist spouted yet another dose of anti-Western rhetoric.
Earlier, propagandist Solovyov called for the European Union to be designated a sponsor of terrorism.
Prior to this, Putin replaced Russia’s commanders in Ukraine after plans to seize the Donbas fell through.
As a reminder, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law imposing strict restrictions on citizens abroad who have been convicted in absentia under political articles of the Russian Criminal or Administrative Codes, specifically for “discrediting” the army, calling for sanctions, or participating in “undesirable organizations.”
Since the start of the full-scale war, every trip Vladimir Putin takes resembles a military special operation.
