Video: In Milan, a Russian-speaking female taxi driver insulted Ukrainian women because of their language
In Milan, Italy, a Russian-speaking female taxi driver got into a verbal altercation with women who were speaking Ukrainian. According to eyewitnesses, the taxi driver insulted the Ukrainian women and expressed displeasure with their background and the language they were speaking.
Anna Danylyuk, a Ukrainian woman, recounted the incident on her Threads page. She said that she and her friends decided to use the Bolt taxi service while traveling in Milan. The driver, Tetyana, arrived to pick them up, but after the ride ended, she began using abusive language and insulting the passengers.
“At the end of the ride, as we were getting out of the car, a friend said ‘thank you,’ to which we received a response in the form of insults, profanity, and gestures. The video shows only a fragment that I managed to capture—there were many more offensive words and gestures before that,” Anna Danylyuk shared.
In the video posted by the woman, the driver can be heard saying, “Should I flip you off so you get the point? Get the f*ck out of here.” When asked by the female passengers why she was speaking that way, the woman replied: “Because you Ukrainian women drive me crazy—you’ve all come here like a bunch of sluts. Get the hell out of here. She’s speaking Ukrainian.”
Anna said that before the ride began, the taxi driver asked about the trip in Russian; her friends replied in Ukrainian. After that, they did not speak with the driver during the ride but continued their conversation with each other in Ukrainian.
According to the Ukrainian woman, after the incident, she and her friends contacted Bolt’s customer support. Company representatives responded to her post and asked her to provide details about the ride so they could investigate.
Another user, Galina Kruglytska, said she had also had a similar experience with the same driver that Anna described. According to her, during the ride, the taxi driver addressed her in Russian but stopped communicating after Galina replied that she did not understand Russian.
