Video: A bison attacks a pesky tourist in Poland

In the Białowieża National Park in Poland, a bison attacked a man and knocked him to the ground after he got too close to the animal. 

Witnesses to the incident tried to help the man and shouted at him to stay still, as the bison remained nearby. The animal did not move away from him until one of the witnesses drove up in a car and distracted it. After that, the bison walked away.

Park officials urged visitors to exercise caution, emphasizing that the animal was merely defending itself against an intrusive person. Experts recommend maintaining a distance of at least 50 meters when encountering bison, avoiding taking close-up photos of them, and not feeding them.
