Video: Zelenskyy Names a Possible Location for a Meeting with Trump and Putin

On September 24, Kyiv time, Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the possibility of a trilateral meeting with Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin. According to him, the talks could take place in December in Miami during the G20 summit.

 

“A trilateral meeting with tangible results is potentially possible in December in Miami at the G20. At the moment, this is the best proposal from the American side,” Zelenskyy said.

According to the Ukrainian president, the presence of representatives from other influential countries at the summit could contribute to productive negotiations.

In particular, Zelenskyy mentioned the participation of Donald Trump, as well as representatives from Europe, China, India, and the Middle East. In his view, such a composition of participants could create the necessary atmosphere for a productive meeting.

The Ukrainian side is ready to support the proposed format if an appropriate agreement is reached regarding its implementation. “Of course, Ukraine will support it if such a format is adopted and an appropriate agreement is reached,” Zelenskyy stated.

Earlier, Zelenskyy held meetings in New York with the leaders of Syria and Ecuador.

Prior to that, Zelenskyy referred to Putin at the UN as “patient zero,” from whom the contagion is spreading throughout the world.

Zelenskyy stated that normal life for Ukrainians is impossible without the de-occupation of Crimea.
