A well-known American businessman died in a helicopter crash in Kenya
Seafood entrepreneur Roger Duarte, who had previously been named to Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list, died in Kenya in a helicopter crash. Five other passengers and the pilot were on board with him.
Roger Duarte, 42, a married father of two, died along with five other passengers and the pilot after the helicopter crashed at the foot of a mountain in northern Kenya on Wednesday morning.
Duarte, Telemundo executive José Suárez, and the married couple Henry Parra and Adam Glavaty were identified as the Americans on board.
Also killed in the crash were the director general of Ecuador’s intelligence agency, Michelle Sensi-Contugi; his wife, Stephanie Maria Hollihan Vasconces, who holds dual U.S. citizenship; and experienced pilot Josh Outram.
