Zelenskyy and Frederiksen discussed joint drone production
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, during which the two sides focused on deepening defense cooperation and advancing the priority area of drone manufacturing.

The head of state thanked Denmark for its consistently high level of support and for providing previous defense aid packages, which help counter aggression. A separate topic of discussion was Ukraine’s European integration and preparations for opening all negotiation chapters on EU membership in the near future. Zelenskyy emphasized the country’s determination to move as quickly as possible toward full-fledged accession to the European Union.
The meeting took place against the backdrop of intensified cooperation between Ukraine and its international partners in the field of high-tech equipment for the front lines. Joint drone production is viewed as a key element of the long-term strategy to deter Russia and ensure a technological advantage. The parties also coordinated steps regarding further diplomatic support for Ukraine on the international stage. Denmark remains one of the leaders in providing practical assistance to the Ukrainian defense sector.
