Zelenskyy continued his foreign tour with a visit to Norway

On April 14, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in Oslo, the capital of Norway, on an official visit.

This was reported in a Telegram post by the head of state.

“I have arrived in Oslo. Important meetings are scheduled, as well as the signing of a bilateral document that will help strengthen our security. Ahead of me are talks with Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, meetings with Crown Prince Haakon of Norway, and Norwegian parliamentarians,” the president’s statement reads.

Zelenskyy added: “We are continuing active diplomacy with our partners to protect lives and bring about a real and guaranteed peace.”

Ukrainian Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov met with his Norwegian counterpart Tore Sandvik ahead of the Ramstein meeting. The parties agreed on key areas of cooperation—air defense, drones, and military innovation.

Additionally, the Norwegian government will allocate 1.3 billion Norwegian kroner (over $118.2 million) for the purchase of equipment, spare parts, and weapons for F-16 fighter jets. Ukraine will receive the aircraft themselves by the new year.
