Zlochevsky is selling a 54-meter yacht for €25.9 million
The 54-meter superyacht RHINO has been listed for sale at €25.9 million. The vessel was built by the Italian shipyard Benetti in 2016 and was previously named Karianna—which is how the yacht is linked to Mykola Zlochevsky’s family. The sale is being handled by the international yacht brokers Fraser and Ocean Independence.
The superyacht RHINO is now officially listed for sale. It is 54 meters long, and the asking price is €25.9 million. The sale is being handled by the international brokerage firms Fraser and Ocean Independence. Fraser announced the addition of the RHINO to its fleet for sale back in April 2026.
The yacht was built by the Italian company Benetti. The vessel was launched in 2016 and underwent a major technical and interior refurbishment in 2026. RHINO has six cabins and can accommodate up to 12 guests. Up to 11 crew members work on board.
The yacht has three decks, a steel hull, and an aluminum superstructure. Inside, there is a spacious salon, a dining area, several VIP cabins, a gym, and access to a beach club. The upper deck features a lounge area, a bar, and a jacuzzi. The yacht’s maximum speed is 17 knots, and its range is approximately 4,000 nautical miles.
In RHINO’s public yacht listings, the vessel also appears under the previous names Karianna and Lady Michelle. The name Karianna is associated with Mykola Zlochevsky’s daughters—Karina and Anna. Specialized yacht databases directly list Mykola Zlochevsky as the owner of Karianna.
The History of Zlochevsky and Burisma
Mykola Zlochevsky is a former Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources under Viktor Yanukovych and the founder of the gas production group Burisma. According to Opendatabot, Zlochevsky remains the group’s founder, and his daughters Karina and Anna are listed among those associated with it.
Burisma remains a major player in the Ukrainian gas market. According to Forbes, the Zlochevsky family owns the group. In 2024, its revenue amounted to approximately 17.8 billion UAH, and in the first half of 2025, it was 7.7 billion UAH.
Zlochevsky has also been implicated in criminal investigations for many years. The most high-profile case involved an attempt to bribe the leadership of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU) and the Special Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office (SAPO) in 2020. According to investigators, the amount involved was $6 million. Part of this money—$5 million—was linked to an attempt to close the criminal case, and another $1 million, according to the prosecution, was to be received by an intermediary.
In 2023, the case concluded with a plea agreement. The legal classification of the charges against Zlochevsky was changed, after which the High Anti-Corruption Court (VAKS) approved the agreement and imposed a fine of 68,000 hryvnia on him. In addition, under the terms of the agreement, he was required to transfer 500 million hryvnias to the “Drone Army” project and provide the Defense Forces with equipment worth over 160 million hryvnias.
This agreement became the subject of several journalistic investigations. “Ukrainska Pravda” noted that the initial charges involved a more serious crime, which could have resulted, in particular, in the confiscation of property. After the charges were reclassified, Zlochevsky was fined, and the full text of the court ruling was classified for some time.
Separately, Burisma’s ties to Hunter Biden, the son of then-U.S. President Joe Biden, were discussed in the media for years. Hunter Biden served on Burisma’s board of directors. At the same time, the claim that it was specifically his work at the company that helped Zlochevsky avoid asset forfeiture in this case has not been confirmed as an established fact. Ukrainian law enforcement officials did not name Biden as a suspect in the $6 million case.
What Is Known About the Sale of the Yacht
RHINO is currently being sold as a superyacht that is fully ready for use. According to the broker, the vessel underwent significant upgrades to its interior and technical systems in 2024 and 2026. The yacht also passed its 10-year ABS class survey in 2026.
Interestingly, different yacht listing platforms may display varying price information. Fraser’s official website does not list a price in the public section, but other current brokerage and yacht resources cite €25.9 million as the asking price.
According to sources in business circles cited in reports about the sale, the reason may not be purely financial. One theory is that the yacht no longer meets the owner’s current requirements regarding the vessel’s size and class. RHINO is 54 meters long, making it a large superyacht, but there are significantly larger models on the ultra-luxury yacht market.
At the same time, official brokers have not disclosed the reason for the sale. Therefore, the claim that Zlochevsky is selling RHINO specifically because of its age or size remains a theory put forward by sources, not a confirmed statement from the owner.
The story of the yacht fits into the broader context of the Zlochevsky family’s business. Forbes reported that in recent years, the family has invested funds earned from gas production into real estate in Kyiv. Among these assets, the publication cited the “Arkada” bank building, the Kyiv Food Market, and other properties. According to Forbes, the total amount invested in real estate exceeded 1 billion hryvnia.
At the same time, the €25.9 million yacht itself is only part of the story. The RHINO remains a high-value asset with international maintenance, and its sale would mean a change of ownership if brokers manage to find a buyer.
Against this backdrop, work continues in Ukraine on projects related to the extraction of critically important minerals. In particular, Ukraine and the U.S. have already established a joint recovery fund intended to invest in Ukrainian natural resources and other strategic projects. Thus, the story surrounding the sale of Zlochevsky’s private superyacht once again draws attention to the scale of the assets that have accumulated around the Ukrainian gas business.
