Missing in the jungle for three years: a man who had been presumed missing was found alive in Indonesia

A 49-year-old man who had been missing for nearly three years was found alive in Indonesia. Local residents discovered the emaciated Ai Solehodin in the forests of Mount Salak following heavy rains.

The man was in serious condition, barely able to speak or move on his own. Rescuers carried him out of the forest on a stretcher, after which law enforcement identified him using biometric data.

Relatives confirmed that the man had gone missing about three years ago. According to them, after his parents’ death, he suffered from mental health issues and often went on long hikes through the woods. He never returned home from his last trip.

The family organized search efforts on multiple occasions, and over the years, reports came in of a man matching his description in various parts of the region. However, each time, he disappeared before his relatives arrived.

It is believed that all this time, Ai Solehodin survived in the jungle on his own, avoiding contact with people and constantly changing his location. His loved ones call his return a true miracle.
