Following a high-profile language scandal, singer Nastya Kamenskykh was added to the “Myrotvorets” website’s database.
The entry states that she was added to the list for “humanitarian aggression” and “information and propaganda activities aimed at destabilizing public life in Ukraine.”
Earlier, the singer stated that after switching to the Ukrainian language, she lost her voice and developed a cyst. This, it seems, was the reason for this turn of events.
“I was on tour at the time, and imagine this—I developed a cyst and lost my voice. To be honest, I didn’t even know what to do about it. I was in shock. I had to postpone my concerts. I went to a psychologist, and my psychologist told me, ‘Go back to speaking Russian. Your body isn’t accepting this’… That’s pure psychosomatics. I believe in psychosomatics. “Everything that happens to us starts in the mind,” Kamenskykh stated in a recent joint interview with Potap given to a Russian journalist.
During this interview, the controversial rapper made another cynical statement about mobilization and his departure from Ukraine during the war. Potap effectively admitted that he was leaving the country under the guise of charity:
“Basically, I’m going for a charity event, but at the same time I’m also engaged in commercial activities.”
As a reminder, Nastya Kamenskykh attributed her return to speaking Russian to physical health issues.
