After a long hiatus, Oleksii Potapenko and Nastia Kamenskykh announced on May 18 that they were reviving their joint music project. The artists are reuniting as the duo “Potap and Nastia,” which has not performed together for nearly nine years.
The artists posted a joint video on Instagram and announced that they are returning to the stage after a nine-year hiatus, but they will not be performing in Ukraine.
“Sooner or later, every story comes to an end. Today marks the end of the hiatus we put the duo on nine years ago. And that means that we, Potap and Nastya, are back and starting to give concerts. We’re Back,” the performers announced.
The first concert after the long hiatus is scheduled for December 19 in New York. It is there that the duo will officially begin a new chapter in their history.
For many fans, this came as a real surprise, since the stars had only recently confirmed that they were no longer together as a married couple. At the same time, the former lovers are now reuniting for the stage and joint performances.
Fans also paid special attention to the fact that the artists announced their return in Russian. Because of this, active discussions have already begun online.
It’s worth noting that the duo “Potap and Nastya” was one of the most successful music projects of the 2000s and early 2010s. In 2017, the artists put their joint project on hold and began actively pursuing solo careers. However, it seems that nine years later, they have decided to return to the format that once made them superstars.
