In Halych, in the Carpathian region, an incident occurred during singer Iryna Fedyshyn’s performance at the Street Fest festival—part of the stage collapsed. The incident happened just as one of the audience members was about to propose to his girlfriend.
It happened on Saturday, June 6. In the footage, the host and the audience member with flowers are walking across the stage, and a moment later, both find themselves beneath the floor. Fortunately, no one was injured; the host commented on the situation succinctly—"a fiasco."
However, the romantic plan did come to fruition. Despite the failure—in the literal sense—the audience member crawled out from under the stage and proposed to his girlfriend.
Neither the singer nor the festival organizers publicly commented on the incident with the stage structure. Instead, the organizers shared other news: the concert raised 150,000 UAH for the army.
