The White House has promised Iran "hell" if it refuses to concede defeat
White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt stated on March 25 that the U.S. would launch an unprecedentedly powerful strike against Iran if Tehran did not immediately cease its resistance.
During a press briefing, she emphasized that President Donald Trump prefers a diplomatic solution but is prepared for a radical military escalation, according to the EP. According to Levitt, Iran must face the reality of its military defeat to avoid devastating consequences, which the spokesperson described as “hell.”
The U.S. administration stressed that the president is not bluffing and is ready to use all available resources to decisively defeat the enemy. It was also noted that the conclusion of the U.S. operation in Iran would lead to the immediate elimination of shortages and a drop in global gas and oil prices, which have risen significantly due to hostilities and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. This statement came amid massive deployments of U.S. interceptor missiles and parallel efforts by Washington to contain Russian aggression in Europe.
Prior to this, the Iranian leadership rejected the U.S. proposal for a “framework” of a potential agreement to end the war.
