According to him, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán personally called him to congratulate him on his victory.

With 53.45% of the ballots counted in Hungary’s parliamentary elections, Tisza can expect to win 136 of the 199 seats in parliament, which is a constitutional majority (133).

Viktor Orbán’s Fidesz currently ranks second with 56 seats.

"Our Homeland" is projected to win 7 seats.

As a reminder, in Hungary, the opposition has a chance to defeat Orbán for the first time in 14 years.

The opposition party Tisa has a chance to win two-thirds of the seats in the Hungarian parliament in the April 12 elections, which would allow it to amend the constitution and key laws.
