Fuel depot fire breaks out near Rostov, Russia (Photos, video)
A large-scale fire has broken out at a fuel and lubricants depot in the village of Krym in Russia’s Rostov Oblast. Thick black smoke rose above the area and was visible from hundreds of metres away. The cause of the fire has not yet been reported.
The blaze erupted in the village of Krym, located near Rostov-on-Don. Videos and photos published by Russian media show that the fire has spread across a significant area, with a large column of dense black smoke rising above the settlement.

Russian emergency services have not yet commented on the cause of the fire or the extent of the damage. The fire is reportedly spreading rapidly due to the large amount of flammable materials stored at the site.

Eyewitnesses report that the smell of smoke can be detected several kilometres away, and the fire has alarmed local residents. Footage shows flames engulfing buildings, with occasional explosions heard — likely caused by the ignition of fuel.

Separately, the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated that Russian troops have not advanced in Vovchansk and Synkivka.
Earlier, reports indicated that Russian forces had been harming their own troops due to a lack of communication at positions.
Russian drones also struck residential buildings and a port facility in the Odesa region.
