Russians damaged a gas pipeline in Zaporizhzhia with an aerial bomb
On Saturday, May 2, Russian occupiers once again attacked Naftogaz facilities. Over the past two days, the company’s facilities in three regions of Ukraine have come under attack. Among the damaged infrastructure was a gas pipeline in Zaporizhzhia.

Yesterday, a gas production facility in the Kharkiv region was hit, resulting in damage to equipment. Naftogaz specialists are working at the site, and an assessment of the damage is ongoing.
Today, a gas pipeline in the Zaporizhzhia region was hit.
“The enemy dropped an aerial bomb on a gas pipeline in the Zaporizhzhia region. As a result, some consumers were temporarily left without gas. Repair crews are ready to begin restoration as soon as the security situation allows and are coordinating their actions with the military,” the statement reads.
In addition, today one of Naftogaz’s employees was injured in shelling in the Dnipropetrovsk region. He is currently receiving medical care.
The company also noted that since the beginning of 2026, Naftogaz facilities have already been targeted in 99 attacks.
As a reminder, on May 2, Russian troops struck Naftogaz facilities in the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk regions. One of the company’s employees was injured.
One person was killed and two were injured on May 2 as a result of strikes by Russian terrorists on the Zaporizhzhia district.
In Mykolaiv, Russian invaders attacked energy infrastructure for the second time on May 2. Part of the city was left without power, and utility workers are already on site.
