Armenia's CEC annuls voting results at three polling stations
Armenia’s Central Election Commission has invalidated the results of the vote at polling station No. 12/13 following the parliamentary elections held on June 7.
The basis for this decision was the absence of ballots numbered 8 at the polling station. As a result, District Election Commission No. 12 recorded all 809 votes cast as invalid and effectively reset the rest of the protocol’s figures to zero.
The materials regarding this case have been forwarded to the prosecutor’s office for further investigation.
The political party “National Democratic Pole” was running under number 8 in the election.
This is already the third polling station where the CEC of Armenia has annulled the voting results. Previously, similar decisions were made regarding polling stations in Yerevan and the Syunik region.
