Zelenskyy Outlined Ukraine's Three Main Tasks Ahead of Winter
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy chaired a meeting of the National Security and Defense Council on the implementation of resilience plans in regions and communities. According to him, some cities and regions are lagging behind in implementing the specified measures.
The head of state emphasized that officials will be personally accountable for completing the necessary work. He called for accelerating the implementation of these plans so that communities are prepared for the challenging winter season.
Among the key priorities, Zelenskyy cited strengthening the protection of critical infrastructure, ensuring a sufficient number of high-quality shelters and bomb shelters, and developing Ukraine’s anti-ballistic capabilities.
The President also thanked government officials and local authorities who, in his words, are actively working to protect citizens.

Zelenskyy dismissed Ukraine’s ambassador to Austria.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also signed a decree dismissing Olga Stefanishyna from her post as Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States.
Olga Stefanishyna stated that the decision to step down as Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States was her own initiative. She noted that she herself had decided to resign from her diplomatic post.
