Zelenskyy said he is ready to negotiate with Xi Jinping for the sake of peace
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he is ready to engage in dialogue with Chinese President Xi Jinping if such contacts can help end the war and bring about a just peace.
During a conversation with journalists, the head of state was asked whether he was considering the possibility of negotiations with the Chinese leader in the context of finding ways to resolve the war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine.
In response, Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine is open to engaging with any world leaders and international partners who can help achieve peace.
The president stressed that Kyiv is interested in involving all influential international players in the peace process and is ready for dialogue if it leads to tangible results.
