BMW offers M Performance parts for the new X5 and iX5
BMW has confirmed the availability of M Performance parts and factory accessories for the fifth-generation X5 and the electric iX5 from the launch of the models. As Motor1 reports, the shared accessories catalog covers petrol, diesel, hybrid and fully electric versions of the X5.
Aerodynamic elements and wheels
The M Performance catalog includes a carbon-fiber front splitter, front-end trim elements, a roof spoiler and a rear diffuser. According to BMW, the splitter is intended to improve the vehicle's aerodynamics with a minimal increase in weight.
The exterior mirror caps and rear diffuser are made of an aramid composite. BMW noted that this material combines rigidity with lower weight compared with steel or conventional plastic elements.

Wheels ranging from 21 to 23 inches in diameter will be offered for the X5 and iX5 in summer and winter versions. New items include 23-inch alloy wheels.
Roof boxes and interior accessories
BMW has also prepared aerodynamic roof boxes with capacities of 350, 450 and 550 liters. Each has a capacity 30 liters greater than the previous models, and their shape is designed to reduce aerodynamic drag.
The interior will feature the Travel & Comfort system with tablet holders and smartphone adapters. It is intended to secure mobile devices while traveling.
