Stellantis has announced a massive recall of more than 1.3 million Jeep SUVs and trucks worldwide. The decision was prompted by concerns over a potential fire risk in the vehicles. The company stated that it is working to resolve the identified issue.

The recall covers Jeep Wrangler and Jeep Gladiator trucks manufactured between 2021 and 2025 due to an issue with an electricalin the wiring of the electric power steering pump, which in rare cases could cause combustible materials to overheat, potentially leading to a vehicle fire.
