Fiat unveils Multiplay teaser ahead of the 2026 Paris Motor Show — Motor1
Fiat has released the first image of the Multiplay concept, which the brand plans to present at the 2026 Paris Motor Show in France. The compact vehicle is intended to combine the practicality of a minivan, the flexibility of an SUV, and the cargo capabilities typical of a pickup truck, Motor1 reports.
A reference to the Multipla
Fiat calls Multiplay a new mobility concept rather than simply another concept car. Judging by the teaser, the model follows the idea of a compact and spacious MPV embodied by the Fiat 600 Multipla of the 1950s and 1960s, as well as the Fiat Multipla of the late 1990s.
The new concept focuses on making maximum use of the interior space. In a brief statement, Fiat mentions a combination of the comfort and flexibility of an SUV with the cargo space and outdoor recreation capabilities characteristic of pickup trucks.

Possible configurations and an electric model
According to Motor1, the Multiplay may receive a special mechanism that would make it possible to change the vehicle’s configuration depending on needs. The teaser also recalls the Fiat Quattrolino, a microcar shown during Stellantis’ Investor Day in May and classified in the European L7e category of heavy electric quadricycles.
At the same time, the Multiplay is expected to be a full-fledged vehicle without the restrictions that apply to quadricycles. The publication notes that the concept may precede one of Fiat’s affordable E-Car electric vehicles, with an estimated price of around €15,000. Such models are expected to appear around 2028 alongside the related Citroën 2CV and an Opel model; they are projected to share a platform and be produced in Pomigliano d’Arco, Italy.
