Lexus names price and specifications for 2027 electric TZ — InsideEVs
Lexus has announced prices and technical specifications for the 2027 model-year TZ three-row electric crossover. The base TZ450e Premium version will start at $64,050 and feature a dual-motor powertrain producing 308 hp, InsideEVs reports.
Previously, 402 hp had been stated for the model. Official specifications for the TZ450e list 323 pound-feet of torque, acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 6.2 seconds, and a top speed of 112 mph. All three trims use the same dual-motor powertrain.
Prices and batteries
In addition to the TZ450e Premium, the lineup will include the Premium Touring, starting at $72,050, and the Luxury, starting at $80,550. The base version will have a 77-kWh battery and a range of 253 miles. The two more expensive trims will receive a 96-kWh battery, increasing the range to 315 miles.

The electric vehicles will have an NACS connector and support charging at up to 150 kW. Charging the TZ450e Premium from 10% to 80% will take 28 minutes, while versions with the larger battery will take 35 minutes.
Comparison with Toyota and Subaru
According to the publication, the TZ is related to the Toyota Highlander EV and Subaru Getaway. The dual-motor Subaru Getaway has a stated output of 420 hp, while the Toyota Highlander EV has 338 hp. Prices for the Toyota and Subaru models have not yet been announced.
InsideEVs, citing Car and Driver, notes that dealers may offer a Performance Package that will increase the TZ's output to 402 hp. The Lexus TZ is scheduled to enter the market at the end of 2026, while the related Toyota and Subaru models are delayed.
