TechArt unveils Porsche 911 GTclassic restomod based on the 964 — Motor1
TechArt has unveiled the GTclassic, its first fully bespoke restomod of the classic Porsche 911. The car is based on the Porsche 911 of the 964 generation, which was produced from 1989 to 1994. As Motor1 reports, TechArt will produce only 11 examples of the model, each assembled to order.
Classic design
The GTclassic body was created with early F-series Porsche 911 models in mind, which preceded the 964 generation. The car features an elongated front hood, vents with mesh inserts, widened fenders, and a ducktail-style rear spoiler. LED headlights and taillights modernize the model while retaining its classic silhouette.
Champagne-colored decorative elements run from the headlights to the rear spoiler. Forged 18-inch Retrosport wheels with a two-piece design and two finishing options were also developed for the GTclassic. Their design reinterprets the classic five-spoke Fuchs wheels.

Engineering and equipment
The restomod is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter air-cooled flat-six engine modified by TechArt. Its output is 374 horsepower. The engine is paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and power is sent to the rear wheels.
The GTclassic retains the factory anti-lock braking system and power steering. At the same time, TechArt has installed upgraded shock absorbers with external reservoirs. The interior combines plaid-fabric seats, red leather accents, and champagne-colored trim around the instrument cluster. The dashboard also features Hanhart analog clocks.
For everyday use, the car received a modern multimedia system with smartphone integration, Apple CarPlay, navigation, and Bluetooth. The company has not announced the official price of the GTclassic.
