Saudi Arabia unveils EXOBOT electric vehicles — Asharq Al-Awsat
Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman unveiled EXOBOT, the flagship electric vehicles of the national automotive company CEER. This was reported by Asharq Al-Awsat, citing the Saudi Press Agency.
Seven models in five years
The EXOBOT sedan and SUV are part of a planned lineup of seven models that CEER is to introduce over the next five years. It will also include mid-size and compact vehicles with different powertrain types for the needs of different buyers.
Mohammed bin Salman said that the launch of CEER’s first vehicles is another step in creating a sustainable industrial ecosystem in the country. According to him, the automotive sector should contribute to economic growth by attracting investment, developing national talent and expanding the role of the private sector.
Production and economic forecasts
The vehicles are planned to be produced at the CEER Manufacturing Complex. The report describes it as the largest automotive manufacturing facility in the Middle East and one of the most technologically advanced in the world.

The EXOBOT sedan and SUV were designed and developed in Saudi Arabia in accordance with global standards, the publication reports. Their design, according to Asharq Al-Awsat, is inspired by the country’s landscapes and culture.
According to projections, by 2034 CEER could add more than 30 billion Saudi riyals, or about $8 billion, to Saudi Arabia’s GDP and help improve the trade balance by more than 80 billion riyals, or $21 billion. The creation of direct and indirect jobs is also expected.
Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, PIF, launched CEER in 2022 as the first Saudi automotive brand. The project is aimed at developing the local automotive industry, attracting investment and diversifying the economy in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
