More than 60 heads of foreign diplomatic missions and international organizations accredited in Ukraine visited the site of a Russian missile strike on a residential building in the Darnytskyi district of Kyiv.
This was reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
The diplomats visited the site of the destroyed nine-story building, which was hit by a Russian Kh-101 missile, and observed a moment of silence to honor the memory of the victims.
Andriy Danik, Head of the State Emergency Service, briefed the foreign representatives on the consequences of the attack.
Deputy Foreign Minister Yevhen Perebyinis stated that the strike on the residential building was a deliberate attack on the civilian population and demonstrates Russia’s unwillingness to end the war.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs called on international partners to intensify sanctions pressure on Russia, provide Ukraine with additional air defense systems, and help bring those responsible to justice.
