Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy dismissed Timur Tkachenko from his position as head of the Kyiv City Military Administration. The corresponding decree was published on the president’s website on Thursday, July 16.
Timur Tkachenko had served as head of the Kyiv City Military Administration since December 31, 2024. He was born on August 18, 1989, in Kyiv and earned degrees in “International Economics” and “Law” from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.
He began his career in public service in 2012, working at the municipal enterprise “Solomyanka-Service.” He subsequently held management positions at the municipal enterprises “Kyivblagoustriy” and “Pleso,” served as chief of staff of the Holosiivskyi District State Administration, deputy head of the Darnytsia District State Administration, and first deputy director and director of the Department of Urban Improvement at the Kyiv City State Administration.
