All fires in Kyiv have been extinguished following the Russian Federation's nighttime attack

Rescue workers have extinguished all the fires that broke out in Kyiv as a result of the Russian attack on the night of July 16. 

According to the State Emergency Service, fires broke out in the Svyatoshyn and Darnytsia districts of the capital after Russian munitions struck the area.

Approximately 150 rescue workers and 27 fire and rescue vehicles were deployed to address the aftermath of the attack.

Currently, all fires caused by the nighttime shelling have been completely extinguished.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine on Telegram.

As a reminder, on the night of July 16, Russian terrorists launched ballistic missile strikes on Kyiv, resulting in fires at warehouses and non-residential buildings in two districts of the capital. There are also reports of casualties and injuries.

In Kyiv, following the Russian attack on the night of July 16, traffic was temporarily restricted on a section of Akademika Korolyova Avenue. This was due to cleanup efforts following the shelling.

Over the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian military has eliminated 1,340 Russian occupiers. The Defense Forces also destroyed three tanks, 66 artillery systems, 1,801 tactical-level drones, and 420 enemy vehicles.
