The number of people injured in Russia's attack on Kyiv has risen to 25; three have died
As a result of a massive nighttime attack by the Russian armed forces on Kyiv on September 8, the number of wounded rose to 25, and the death toll increased to three. Units of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service continue to deal with the aftermath of enemy shelling in the capital.
Currently, rescue workers are continuing cleanup efforts at two main locations—in the Solomyanskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts, where firefighters are still extinguishing fires in non-residential buildings. At other locations throughout the city, all fires that broke out have already been completely extinguished.

On September 8, during a Russian attack on Kyiv, a Russian drone struck the building housing the “We Are Ukraine” TV channel. The strike partially destroyed the building, and five employees of the TV channel were injured.
On September 8, Russian troops launched an attack with two “Shahed” drones on the Kyiv–Sumy train. The train had been stopped in advance, and passengers and crew members were evacuated following a warning from the “Ukrzaliznytsia” monitoring team.
As a reminder, fires broke out at industrial facilities in the Kyiv region due to an attack by the Russian Federation.
Russia also launched a massive attack on Kyiv, killing and wounding civilians.
