Kyiv Resumes Public Transportation Services After a Massive Attack
In Kyiv, city passenger transit services, which had been temporarily suspended due to the aftermath of a massive combined attack by Russian forces, are gradually resuming.
As of the morning of July 2, emergency services had completed their initial response efforts, allowing trolleybuses and trams to return to their regular routes.
The first to resume service at 08:18 were trolleybuses Nos. 1, 11, 12, 14, 15, 38, 43, and 50.
A little later, at 8:33 a.m., trolleybus routes Nos. 6, 16, 18, 19, 23, 28, 31, 33, 35, as well as tram routes Nos. 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 18, and 19.
At 10:50 a.m., trolleybus routes Nos. 22k, 27, 30, and 42 resumed service and also returned to their regular routes.
City authorities note that public transportation is currently operating with deviations from the approved schedules, as the infrastructure requires time to fully stabilize.
