McDonald’s plans to quickly resume operations at its Lukyanivka location
McDonald’s plans to reopen its restaurant in Lukyanivka, Kyiv, as soon as possible after it was damaged in a Russian attack.
This was reported by the company’s press office.
McDonald’s noted that it is currently assessing the extent of the damage to the restaurant and preparing to resume operations.
The company emphasized that all employees were in shelters during the attack, so no one was injured.
The restaurant on Yuri Illenko Street is iconic for the chain, as it was the first McDonald’s location in Ukraine, opened in May 1997.
Currently, the McDonald’s chain in Ukraine has 139 restaurants, 124 of which are operating in 42 locations.
McDonald’s opened its first restaurant in Irpin.
