The head of the Desnianskyi District State Administration's Education Department has been charged
Prosecutors from the Desnianskyi District Prosecutor’s Office in Kyiv have notified Oksana Khomych, head of the Education Department of the Desnianskyi District State Administration, that she is under investigation for failing to file her annual financial disclosure statement.
This was reported by the Desnianskyi District Prosecutor’s Office in Kyiv.
According to the investigation, the official failed to file her 2025 declaration by the statutory deadline—April 1, 2026. She is charged with willful failure to file a declaration under Article 366-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Oksana Khomych became head of the Desnianskyi District State Administration’s Department of Education in March 2026. Prior to her appointment, she filed a candidate’s declaration in which she listed savings of $95,400. Also in March, the official reported significant changes in her financial status, declaring the purchase of a 2020 Hyundai Palisade for nearly 1.4 million hryvnias.
At the same time, according to publicly available data, the candidate’s declaration did not include an apartment in Kovel, of which she is a co-owner along with relatives.
