Streets in Kyiv will be closed on July 23 due to a visit by foreign guests

On Thursday, July 23, temporary traffic restrictions will be in effect in central Kyiv due to security measures involving foreign delegations. This was reported by the State Security Service of Ukraine. 

The exact list of streets where traffic will be blocked has not yet been released for security reasons. Residents and visitors to the capital are advised to plan their routes in advance and choose alternative detours.

As a reminder, new fares for municipal public transportation will take effect in Kyiv on July 15. The cost of a single trip on the metro, buses, trolleybuses, trams, and the funicular will increase from 8 to 30 hryvnias. This is the first fare increase in the capital in the last six years.
