Traffic on Lesya Ukrainka Boulevard in Kyiv will be partially restricted due to roadwork
From June 22 to July 15, traffic on Lesya Ukrainka Boulevard in the Pechersk district of Kyiv will be partially restricted due to the installation of road barriers in the median strip.
According to reports, specialists from the Pechersk Road Maintenance Department will carry out the work daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
“From 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., specialists from the Pechersk Road Maintenance Department will be installing road barriers on the median strip. The work will take place on the section from the “Pecherska” metro station to the Pechersk overpass,” the announcement states.
During the work, traffic will be partially restricted to the far-left lanes in both directions.
The Kyivavtodor municipal corporation apologized for the temporary inconvenience and urged drivers to take the restrictions into account when planning their routes.
This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City State Administration (KCSA).
On Sunday, June 21, metro service and a number of public transportation routes in central Kyiv will be temporarily adjusted. The restrictions are related to public events and will be in effect during the morning.
In addition, the Kyiv City Council of Trade Unions has agreed to a phased increase in public transportation fares in the capital.
