Kyiv Will Shorten the Curfew as Early as September 10
In Kyiv, starting September 10, the curfew will be in effect from 1:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. The Kyiv Defense Council adopted this decision on September 7 in accordance with a government resolution and taking into account the city’s initiatives.
The changes will take effect at 12:00 a.m. on September 10. Thus, the duration of the curfew will be reduced by one hour.
Due to the change in public transportation schedules, operating hours in the capital will also be extended by one hour.
At the same time, the operating hours of restaurants, entertainment venues, and shopping and entertainment centers will remain unchanged.
It is separately noted that, effective September 3, pursuant to a decision by the Kyiv Defense Council, the movement of large transit vehicles is permitted during curfew hours.
In addition, due to frequent train delays, the city is organizing four bus routes to transport passengers from the central train station during curfew hours.
This was announced by the capital’s mayor, Vitali Klitschko.
As a reminder, the curfew in the Kharkiv region will remain unchanged for now.
In Kyiv, traffic will be blocked for two days in certain areas where restrictions will be in place.

On the evening of July 31, a Russian attack drone struck a high-rise residential building in the Saltivsky district of Kharkiv. According to preliminary information, the building’s roof was damaged, but there were no casualties.
