On April 26, International Chernobyl Disaster Remembrance Day, temporary traffic restrictions will be in place in Kyiv and the surrounding region due to security measures involving foreign delegations.
This was reported by the patrol police.
“On April 26, 2026, due to security measures involving foreign delegations, temporary traffic restrictions will be in effect in Kyiv and the Kyiv region. We ask for your understanding and ask that you take this into account when planning your day,” the statement said.
As a reminder, Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Pavlo Palisa, together with a British delegation led by Jonathan Powell, the UK Prime Minister’s National Security Advisor, visited units defending the Zaporizhzhia sector.
On April 31, European Commission Vice-President and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Kaia Kallas arrived in Kyiv on a visit, accompanied by European ministers.
During his visit to Ukraine, Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, visited the National Military Memorial Cemetery and paid tribute to the fallen Ukrainian soldiers.
