Two weeks before the holiday, which falls on April 12 this year, retail chains in the capital have begun stocking their shelves with festive baked goods. As of March 31, Easter-themed products have already appeared in most of the city’s popular supermarkets.

For example, the Silpo chain traditionally offers a wide selection of Easter cakes—ranging from very small options to large family-sized cakes. The smallest Easter cake, weighing 100 grams, will cost shoppers 39.99 UAH, a medium-sized cake (300 g) costs 89.90 UAH, and a large one (600 g) costs 149 UAH.
This year, the retailer is once again offering a culinary treat for those who love to eat only the sweetest part of the pastry. Separate “Easter cake tops” are now available: the regular one costs 54.99 UAH, and the exotic mango version costs 69.99 UAH.
In addition to the “tops,” a themed Easter cupcake shaped like a bunny is available for Kyiv’s youngest residents for 69.99 UAH.
As of March 31, the shelves of the ATB chain also feature festive baked goods produced in-house and by partner bakeries. For those looking for a small festive treat, an Easter Paska (130 g) is available for 41.50 UAH. If you’d like to try something more sophisticated, the Paska-Crafin (300 g) is available for 179.90 UAH. For fans of Italian traditions, there’s also a Panettone with dried fruit (430 g) for 204.90 UAH.
The Varus chain already offers a wide selection of baked goods from well-known Kyiv bakeries. Here you can find both very budget-friendly options and more expensive items for true gourmets.
The most affordable option is a small Easter cake from the “Roma” brand (100 g), which costs just 34.90 UAH. For those who prefer classics from trusted brands, “Kyivkhlib” offers a festive Easter cake (300 g) for 102.90 UAH.
The premium segment from BKK deserves special attention. In particular, the “Cheese Paska with Candied Fruit” cake weighing 500 grams will cost shoppers 309.90 UAH. This is one of the most expensive items in the chain at the moment.
Roshen brand stores are keeping pace with the capital’s supermarkets. Here, the focus is on gift-sized items. A 520-gram Easter cake currently costs 298.25 UAH. This version features a milk chocolate sprinkling and pieces of delicate glaze inside.
