Representatives of the Kyiv City State Administration, Kyiv City Council members, civil society organizations, and transportation activists have been invited to participate.

The roundtable is taking place at the Kyiv City State Administration building, Room 512, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Earlier, it was reported that Kyiv plans to raise the single-ride fare to 30 hryvnias and introduce a discount system for regular passengers.

  • rising prices for electricity and fuel;
  • costs of vehicle maintenance;
  • wage increases for employees;
  • a decline in passenger traffic.

The new fares are scheduled to take effect on July 15, 2026, following the completion of regulatory procedures, public consultations, and discussions with labor unions.

Proposals regarding fares are being accepted until June 1 via the platform at the link.

Prior to this, the Kyiv City Council did not support the decision to impose a moratorium on fare increases for public transportation in the capital.

The Kyiv City State Administrationis preparing a review of public transportation fares in the capital.

Additionally, law enforcement agencies in the capital have dismantled two corruption schemes, the organizers of which promised men of draft age that they could avoid mobilization through official deferments.
