Video: Severe weather hit the Kyiv region, and the streets began to flood
On the afternoon of July 3, severe weather began in the Kyiv region. In certain areas of the Kyiv region, a downpour accompanied by hail began.
Residents of Vyshhorod, in particular, are reporting the severe weather. There, flooding has already been reported on the streets due to the downpour, causing damage to vehicles. The first images of the aftermath of the downpour have already appeared online.
Later, residents of some districts of Kyiv also reported a downpour with hail. In particular, such reports have been received from the Left Bank and in certain districts of the Right Bank of the capital, including the city center.
Earlier, a heavy downpour flooded roads in western Ukraine.
Heavy rain in the Rivne region caused flooding on a section of the M-06 Kyiv–Chop international highway near the village of Varkovychi. This resulted in a traffic jam stretching for several kilometers, and police were forced to implement alternating traffic.
