Actor Aram Arzumanyan was injured on stage during a performance
Ukrainian theater and film actor Aram Arzumanyan was injured while performing on stage.
Arzumanyan noted that he is experiencing severe pain in his leg and suspects he may have severely strained his ligaments.
“I’m in excruciating pain. I don’t think it’s broken, but if I’d torn my ligaments, it would be completely bruised. I think I’ve really strained it. I’m heading for an MRI now,” the actor said on Instagram.
Later, Aram Arzumanyan showed his bandaged knee and commented on the situation with a sense of humor.
“I got injured on stage. Looks like I need to change careers. While I still have the chance,” he wrote.
So far, the actor hasn’t disclosed what his diagnosis is or how serious the injury is.
This isn’t the first serious incident on stage for Aram Arzumanyan. Last year, the actor was hospitalized after falling into the orchestra pit during the final number of the show “Ladies’ Night” in Kharkiv.

At that time, he suffered a head injury, but medical personnel provided timely assistance. Arzumanyan was later able to resume his touring schedule.
His colleague Victoria Bulitko recounted the incident; she recorded a video from the dressing room and asked how the actor was feeling.
