American actress Davi Chase has died at the age of 35 — TMZ
American actress Davi Chase, who gained worldwide fame for her role as the creepy little girl Samara in the cult horror film *The Ring*, died suddenly at the age of 35.
The celebrity’s life was cut short on June 16 due to the rapid progression of a severe infectious disease.
Her boyfriend, Roy Hernandez, officially announced the death of the famous American actress. According to him, the immediate cause of the tragedy was meningitis and an aggressive blood infection, which subsequently led to systemic sepsis.
A few days before her death, her partner even launched an urgent charity fundraiser for her treatment, hoping to save her, but the doctors were unable to stabilize her condition.
“Davy was recently diagnosed with meningitis and several serious blood infections. Her condition became critical, and the doctors told me that she might have very little time left,” Hernandez shared.
Davie Chase has forever made her mark on the history of world cinema thanks to her brilliant performance as the young Samara Morgan in the American horror film *The Ring*, directed by Gore Verbinski, which was released in 2002.
