George Lucas unveils Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles
George Lucas, creator of the «Star Wars» saga, showed journalists the Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles ahead of its official opening scheduled for September 22. Work on the museum complex lasted nearly two decades and was accompanied by numerous obstacles.
First presentation for the media
On Wednesday, the 82-year-old Lucas showed the museum’s interiors to media representatives for the first time. According to France 24, he called the project the culmination of long-term work.

Lucas said that he was used to doing the impossible, but creating the museum nearly broke his will. The publication notes that the opening was preceded by numerous difficulties.
Lucas and Hobson’s project
Lucas created the museum complex together with his wife and business partner, Mellody Hobson. He previously described the future museum as a «people’s temple of art».
