HBO Max Is Developing a Documentary About the TV Series *Gilmore Girls* — The Variety
An official press release states that the documentary will be told from the perspective of the series’ creator, Amy Sherman-Palladino, and her husband, executive producer Daniel Palladino. The film will explore how the series exceeded all expectations and became a phenomenon that brought together several generations of viewers.
The film will feature previously unseen deleted scenes, behind-the-scenes footage, and pages from the script.
The film will feature actress Lauren Graham, who played one of the lead roles—Lorelai Gilmore—as well as other key cast members and crew members.
Bonnie Cohen is directing the film.
