Artist Mark Lee will release the single My Friend on September 10. It will be his first new musical work after leaving the group NCT. The performer’s agency, Upper Room, announced the upcoming release on Wednesday.

In April, Mark Lee began his solo career, deciding to leave NCT and the SM Entertainment label after 10 years of working with them. In June, he founded his own agency, Upper Room, reports Korea Herald.

Statement on online attacks
On Thursday, Upper Room stated that it would take a tough stance on online attacks, including seeking legal action. According to the agency, Mark Lee is more concerned about the possible impact of malicious posts on fans than about the consequences for himself: such publications may cause them stress.
