Netflix has raised prices for all subscription plans: here's how much they cost now
Netflix, the largest streaming service, raised prices for all subscription plans starting March 26.
The new prices are as follows:
• ad-supported plan — $8.99 per month (was $7.99);
• Standard — $19.99 (was $17.99);
• Premium — $26.99 (was $24.99).
The company explained that the increase is due to the need to invest in content and improve the service.
The new rates are already in effect for new users, while for existing subscribers, the changes will be implemented gradually—with approximately one month’s notice.
