People’s Artist of Ukraine Olga Sumska shared how she copes with stress during the massive attacks on the capital and what helps her stay strong. The actress lives just 800 meters from the Lukyanivka district, which is regularly targeted by enemy strikes.
According to Sumska, her main refuge from the realities of war is her work and her profession, which allow her to take her mind off things, at least for a little while. The star also admitted that she is deeply moved and inspired by the resilience of ordinary people.
In particular, she cannot hold back her emotions when she sees the vendors at the bombed-out Lukyanivka Market who continue to work no matter what. The actress noted that she has known many of them personally for many years and considers them a true example of courage and resilience.
